Inspired by the travel adventurer, Wilfred Thesiger, adventurers Alastair Humphreys and Leon McCarron attempt a journey of their own Into the Empty Quarter. Experience the heat, the hunger and thirst, the dunes and the plains, the silence and the nights filled with stars, and the local hospitality in this film. Alastair and Leon shared all this and more with Thesiger on their 1000 mile trek pulling a cart (filled with 300kg of supplies) across the Arabian Peninsula.
