- Water Sports Center reception area
An automated external defibrillator (AED) is a portable device that automatically sends an electric shock to the heart, if required, to restore a normal rhythm. Although the AED is simple to use and requires minimal patient contact, KAUST recommends that only personnel trained in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) operate it; any use must be accompanied by a telephone call to the KAUST emergency services on (012) 808 0911.
CPR training will be made available during the remainder of 2015; please look out for announcements and updates regarding schedules and registration.
Please note, in case of an emergency call 911 from a KAUST landline, or 012 808 0911 from a mobile.
