Phase two of the Fire Water Supply project will be taking place on Friday, March 6. During this time there will be limited Emergency Services assistance to all campus buildings. Therefore, access to the campus be limited to essential works only.
In the interest of health and safety, and to comply with KAUST Fire department directives:
- No persons beyond those involved in the execution of the project, emergency, security and safety personnel will be allowed in any of the affected buildings without prior approval.
- Essential personnel that require access to buildings during the shutdown should submit their names and location to researchsafety@kaust.edu.sa.
- All non-essential heating elements and related equipment must be switched-off.
- All non-essential gas cylinders must be turned-off and secured.
