WEP Tinga Tinga Painting Exhibition and Sale

This Sunday WEP 2015 welcomes a vibrant exhibition of paintings in the East African Tinga Tinga style. Showcasing the latest work by Mshana, Juma, Rashid and Kipara Mzuguno, the four painter sons of the late Tanzanian master Tingatinga painter David Mzuguno, this exhibition depicts a magic world of blue elephants and green giraffes roaming through traditional African villages, where people live in perfect symbiosis with their natural surroundings.

All the paintings in this exhibition have been created during the last six months and exclusively for this KAUST Mzuguno-Tingatinga exhibition.

The Tinga Tinga exhibition will run from Sunday, January 18 – Thursday, January 22 at the University Library, with a special opening Sunday, January 18 from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
