KAUST is currently participating in the SC’14 Conference in New Orleans, LA. This annual event brings together leaders in high-performance computing, networking, storage and analysis, providing the perfect opportunity for KAUST to announce its new supercomputer.
Shaheen II is a Cray XC40 supercomputer that is twenty-five times more powerful than KAUST’s current system and is expected to arrive on campus in March 2015. Read more on the KAUST website here.
