Today there is a range of exciting events for all of our community to enjoy:

Ornithology and the birds of the Middle East
12:00 -1:30 p.m, Level 0 lecture hall between Al-Jazri and Al-Kindi (buildings 4 and 5)

Dr. Kimberly Smith of the University of Arkansas will give a keynote lecture on Ornithology and the Birds of the Middle East, aided by community members Dan Smith and Brian James and photos from the KAUST photography self-directed group.

Creating Engaging Presentations
5:00 – 6:30 p.m , Level 0 lecture hall between Al-Jazri and Al-Kindi (buildings 4 and 5)

If you saw Dr. Graham Walker’s amazing science show last night at our opening night event, you’ll know he’s full of great ideas on how to make presentations enjoyable. Join Dr. Walker as he shows you how to make your presentations more entertaining and compelling.

An Evening of Classics with the Amici Quartet
8:00 – 9:15 p.m, Auditorium (building 20)

The Amici Quartet will continue their series of concerts for this fall with an evening of classics, with help from pianist and community member Eduardo Regula.
