KAUST is Now an eduroam Member University

The IT Department is pleased to announce that KAUST is now a fully connected eduroam university!

Effective immediately, KAUST employees and students who visit other eduroam member universities will be able to access their wireless networks for Internet access* using their KAUST network login credentials.

Guests visiting KAUST from an eduroam member university will also be able to access the Internet via the new KAUST EDURoam wireless network.

*Please note: to access the KAUST network remotely, you must use the KAUST VPN on all devices.

In order to reduce the amount of unnecessary tickets begin opened at the IT helpdesk, it would be useful to mention in this announcement that it is not exactly the KAUST network login credentials you use to login to eduroam. You need to add “@kaust.edu.sa” after your KAUST login. It is not your email address either. It’s {your KAUST login}@kaust.edu.sa. The password is the same as the one you use to login to the KAUST portal or your KAUST email.
