The Arts Office welcomes those who are interested in participating in our two community music groups – the Orchestra and the Chorus.
The Orchestra group consists of community members with musical backgrounds with string (violin, viola, cello, or bass) or wind instruments (flute, oboe, clarinet, horn, or trumpet). To participate in these groups, interested individuals must schedule an informal interview with The Office of The Arts. The Orchestra group meets on Monday evenings from 7:00 – 8:15 p.m.
The Chorus group is composed of members, which have experience in reading music notes. However, its main aim is the enjoyment of singing within an ensemble. The Chorus meets on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 – 8:15 p.m.
To schedule an interview, or to obtain more information, please contact The Arts Office at artsoffice@kaust.edu.sa. Both groups will commence rehearsals this week to prepare for the Community Concert on Monday, November 18 in the Auditorium.
