The KAUST community is invited to share original photography, drawings, paintings, or Arabic calligraphy in an art competition celebrating Saudi National Day.
Entries will be accepted from August 1 – September 10, 2013. Winners will be announced at the exhibit’s opening reception on September 23.
Eligible art and photography must be about the places, traditions, and culture of Saudi Arabia. Artists may submit only one entry per category.
Artwork in the following categories will be accepted:
- Places
- Traditions/heritage
- People
- Culture
A panel made of community members will review all pieces and select a winner in each category. The competition is open to all KAUST community members age 16 and above.
This competition is sponsored by the Social Responsibility Office as part of the Community Nurturing and Engagement Programs.
