What happens after you put an item in your recycling bin?
Campus and Community (C&C) invites KAUST community members to join a guided tour of the KAUST Recycling Center from October 26 to 28 and see how recyclable materials are handed after collection.
The Recycling Center has recently been upgraded with new equipment to improve the recovery and processing of recyclable materials. Through recycling, composting and other recovery initiatives, KAUST currently diverts around 60% of its municipal waste from landfill.
