The WISER In-Year Program is a semester-long internship initiative designed for The KAUST School (TKS) students from Grade 10 onwards. Running during the academic semester, students dedicate 5–7 hours per week over 15 weeks, gaining hands-on experience in KAUST’s world-class research labs and professional offices, earning academic course credit along the way.
What started as a small pilot has grown into one of the most impactful student programs at TKS, from 21 students in 2023–24 to 110 students this year alone.
We are thrilled to welcome 61 TKS students who are officially starting their WISER In-Year internships this semester!
Starting August 30, these talented young individuals will be embedded across KAUST, working alongside our researchers and professionals in BESE, CEMSE, PSE, Campus & Community & GBC, gaining real-world experience that will shape their academic and career journeys.
