Community Open Day 2025 Highlights

On Wednesday, November 12, the Community Open Day, hosted by Campus and Community (C&C), brought over 1,700 of the KAUST living and working community together for an evening of connection, discovery, and entertainment at the Harbor Walk area.

Attendees explored 65 service booths, 27 community clubs and artisans, 18 KAUST services representation from the C&C department, and 20 retailers and service partners. The event also offered on-site vaccinations. Community members collectively painted a mural, learned about sustainability initiatives, joined raffles, met local artisans showcasing handmade and unique items, and enjoyed stage performances.

Children had fun at a dedicated Kids Zone provided by Building Blocks, while adults discovered new services, enjoyed food samples, and some picked up discount vouchers.

The night featured energetic performances from the Music Club, community members, and this year’s youth category winner of KAUST Got Talent, Stanislaus Dsouza. The vibrant atmosphere culminated with lively beats from the Ministry of DJs Club, wrapping up a memorable event.

We thank all departments, service partners, community groups, and volunteers whose efforts made the event a success.
