The KAUST Visualization Core Lab (KVL), in collaboration with Thermo Fisher Scientific, is pleased to announce three half-day hands-on workshops on the introductory and advanced use of the AVIZO Visualization Suite – a multi-platform data analysis and scientific visualization tool. This workshop will be led by engineers from Thermo Fisher Scientific, the developers of the software. Attendees will participate in tutorials, hands-on sessions, and discussions. Topics will include data visualization, quantitative analysis, image processing and segmentation, 3D reconstruction, the meshing of various scientific datasets, and machine learning applications.
If your research involves extracting information from microscopy image stacks (e.g., CT, SEM, TEM, confocal, etc.), this workshop will help you acquire new insights into your data. The three sessions would start from the introductory level and, step by step, move to a more advanced level.
AVIZO is available for use at the KVL and throughout the campus on IT-provided workstations and laptops.
