As Hajj season is approaching, Government Affairs would like to remind you that all Saudi Government Agencies and Foreign Embassies in Saudi Arabia will be closed from October 20 until November 2, 2012. Please submit any applications for processing no later than October 15.
Those with visitors over the Hajj season: All Business Visit or Family Visit visas that expire during the Hajj holiday (October 20 – November 2) are requested to visit GASC (Government Affairs Services Center) no later than Monday, October 15 to extend their visa. Please bring all required official documents:
• Original passport
• One photo
• 120 SR
• Completed form (signed by the proponent for a business visa; or signed by HR Personnel for family visa)
Business and Family Visit visas permit your guest to remain in the Kingdom for a limited period of time depending on the validity of the issued visa. A five year ban and a penalty of 10,000 SR (USD 2,666) will apply if you do not comply with the deadline and/or fail to extend it before expiration.
Please note that every business or personal visitor to KAUST is required to visit GASC between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to register their passport information and check the validity of their visas.
