Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to officially announce the launch of the search for the Vice President, Campus and Community Services.
Earlier this year, I shared with you the news of the upcoming retirements of Chris Sealey, Vice President, Community Life as well as Matthew Early, Vice President, Facilities Management, scheduled for the end of June 2024.
The plan is to create a new Campus and Community Services Department that will be led by a new Vice President and will report directly to the Chief Administrative Officer.
A search committee has been established to assist with this appointment, chaired by me and comprising the following members from the leadership team:
- Teofilo Abrajano, Chief of Staff, Office of the President
- Farooq Al Janahi, Executive Director, Human Resources
- Samir Hamdan, Associate Vice President, Research & COO
- Michelle Remington, Director, The KAUST School,
- Jason Roos, Vice President & Chief Digital Officer, IT
Boyden, an executive talent firm, has been engaged and will conduct a local and global search for the Vice President, Campus and Community Services.
