Auditorium between Buildings 4&5

The Water Desalination and Reuse Center (WDRC) warmly welcomes you to the 6th Edition of Physics of Membrane Processes Workshop.

KAUST participants can join in person or access the sessions online on November 14–15 in the auditorium between Buildings 4 and 5.

About the Workshop

This international workshop covers research into the fundamentals of transport through membranes. Speakers in the sessions will debate on the latest theoretical and experimental advancements, from small to full scale applications, including:

  • Ion-exchange membranes
  • Electrodialysis
  • Nanofiltration
  • Reverse osmosis
  • Gas separation and other innovative technologies

A focal point will be the numerical modeling, covering discrete to continuum simulations of transport through membranes.

Associated Organizations

This event is an initiative of the Physics of Membrane Processes international working group. Additionally, KAUST is proud to host teams specializing in membrane technology, notably those from the Water Desalination and Reuse Center and the Advanced Membranes and Porous Materials Center.
