9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Building 3, Level 5, Room 5220

The Imaging and Characterization Core Lab (IAC), Optical Microscopy (OM) Unit, invites you to learn about Open Microscopy Environment Remote Objects (OMERO), a set of software tools developed and maintained by OME. (OME is a consortium of universities, research labs, industry and developers producing open-source software and format standards for microscopy data.) OMERO lets you import and archive your images, annotate and tag them, record your experimental protocols, and export images in a number of formats. It also allows you to collaborate with colleagues worldwide by creating user groups with different permission levels. OMERO utilizes a client-server architecture. Scientists interact with their image data in OMERO through a Java or web-based client.

Attendees will learn about the features of OMERO and how to access the software through KAUST.

Please register here by Thursday, June 1, 2023.

Participants will receive a confirmation email and details for accessing the KAUST OMERO.

This event is brought to you by the KAUST Core Labs.
